 About the Wolverine Program

What you and your child should know about playing football in the Wolverine program:

  • The program is a member of the Greater Eastside Junior Football Association (www.gejfa.org)

  •  All Wolverine youth coaches have been trained at technical clinics, have attended the required GEJFA coach’s clinic, have passed the USA Football National exam, they have signed a code of conduct statement, and have also had concussion training.
  • Every coach is expected to treat children fairly and teach them the positives attributes of football through individual and team goals.

  • In four of the last five years: five Wolverine teams have played in the championship game throughout the different six levels of the league.

  • Last year the Wolverine program had 12 teams playing (270 players) with-in five levels.
  • The System posted the best wining percentage and combined for 93-23-3 record. Two league champions. Four teams in the championship game, and all 12 of the teams made it to playoffs. All league highs.
