Wolverine Boundary

Wolverine Boundary

To play football in the Wolverine club, all players (including students that attend private school) must live with-in the Bellevue High School attendance area.

Wolverine Split Policy

The Junior Wolverine program has grown in the last 10 years to over 270 players and as many as 12 teams at 5 different levels. The Greater Eastside Junior Football Association (GEJFA) requires each club to split their team when a level reaches more than 32 players.

To prevent “A” and “B” teams each club is required to announce how they will split up their teams equally in talent and numbers.

There are two options: draft or boundary. The Junior Wolverine program uses a boundary split. The split is based on the public elementary school attended.

The Gold teams are players from Medina Elementary and the Blue teams are players from Enatai Elementary.

When there is enough players for a third team Clyde Hill Elementary is the White team.

Players from private schools that join in elementary and middle school who do not have enough to form their own team (as a whole) become a “wild card” and are placed on a team by the register, to complete and balance rosters.

It is 100% the intent of the Junior Wolverine program to split the teams equally and for every participant to have a positive experience. Our split policy has led to great success throughout entire club; in the last two years, all Wolverine teams have made it to the playoffs.
